Selecting and programming your perfect sound
Your audiologist will work closely with you to select the perfect device. Once that is in place, you and your audiologist will design the sound settings so you get the best access to the sounds you need to hear.
Hearing aid sound settings are programmed using a technique called real-ear measurements (REM). During this process, your audiologist will place a very small tube into your ear canal, position the hearing aid over it, and collect data on sound coming out of the device. This ensures your hearing aids are set for your exact prescription based on your hearing evaluation.
Once the sound settings are in place, we can set the hearing aids to be as unique as you are. From specific listening programs to streaming sound from your phone, we'll make sure you love what you hear.
